North Midlands SLP
As part of the national Science Learning Partnership network since 2005, the North Midlands and Black Country SLP has an established reputation for the facilitation and delivery of high quality, high impact, flexible continuing professional development programmes. Our vision is to work collaboratively to support high aspirations and improved outcomes for teachers, technicians and hence young people from KS1-KS5 across our region.
The STEM Community is a safe, professional space for you to collaborate with fellow professionals to find solutions which unlock your potential.
As members of the community, you can build a supportive network and explore ways to improve the quality of your teaching. It's your STEM Community, there's so much that you - the members - will learn from each other and we are here to learn from you too!
We'll encourage you, stimulate some discussion and, from time to time, signpost some useful things. We're excited to find out what you will discover and share with your fellow members...
CAS Community meetings are for teachers, run by teachers.
They seek to provide the opportunity:
for teachers to meet in a relaxed and informal atmosphere with refreshments
to share ideas and resources
to receive informal training
to gain mutual support from discussing teaching methods with colleagues.
